Launching the Chartoasis Sesame Application

Launching from Firefox Browser

1. Visit the www.chartoasis.com/sesame site.
2. On a Windows system, a window may be displayed asking for user permission to run the application. Allow running of the application, or run the browser as Administrator.
3. If the proper version of Java has not been installed yet, Firefox will offer installation of Java.
   
   • In some cases installation is unsuccessful. In this case, we recommend manual installation of Java according to this guide.
4. Chartoasis Sesame asks for user permission to run the application. Allow running of the application.

• In a window shown below:
  • Click “Show options”. Tick the check-box next to “Always trust content from this publisher” to avoid future appearance of this window.
  • Click “Run”

• Or in a window shown below:

  • Tick the check-box next to “Always trust content from this publisher” to avoid future appearance of this window.
  • Click “Run“.

Launching from Internet Explorer Browser

(Use of the Chartoasis Sesame application is somewhat troublesome with Internet Explorer. If possible, use Firefox or Google Chrome browsers instead)

1. Visit the www.chartoasis.com/sesame site.
2. With Windows operating system:
   • A window may be displayed asking for user permission to run the application. Allow running of the application, or run the browser as Administrator.
   • A message may be displayed requesting permission to run an ActiveX plug-in.
3. If the proper version of Java has not been installed yet, installation of proper Java version usually starts.
   
4. Chartoasis Sesame asks for user permission to run the application. Allow running of the application.

• In a window shown below:

  • Click “Show options”. Tick the check-box next to “Always trust content from this publisher” to avoid future appearance of this window.
  • Click “Run”

• Or in a window shown below:

  • Tick the check-box next to “Always trust content from this publisher” to avoid future appearance of this window.
  • Click “Run“.

Launching from Google Chrome Browser

1. Visit the www.chartoasis.com/sesame site.
2. On a Windows system, a window may be displayed asking for user permission to run the application. Allow running of the application, or run the browser in as Administrator.
3. Google Chrome will request permission to run the Java-based application. Allow running of the application. Click on “Always run on this site” to avoid future appearance of this question.
   • 
4. If the latest version of Java has not been installed yet,
   • Google Chrome will offer installation of Java. For further information, please refer to the Java Installation guide.
   • If you see a message bar within Chrome that says Plug-in out of date, click on the Update plug-in link in the Chrome message bar to get the latest Java. You may skip this selecting “Run this time” but update is recommended to ensure your safety.
5. Chartoasis Sesame asks for user permission to run the application. Allow running of the application.

  • Click “Show options”. Tick the check-box next to “Always trust content from this publisher” to avoid future appearance of this window.
  • Click “Run”

  • Tick the check-box next to “Always trust content from this publisher” to avoid future appearance of this window.

Speciality of launching Sesame on MacOS

Updates of Mac OS may disable running Java Applets like Chartoasis Sesame.

In this case you may see “Inactive Plug-in” or similar label in you browser like below.

Click “Inactive Plug-in” and allow running Sesame.
